title = {Recognizing the Role of Neoliberalism Components and Futurology in the New Conservation Approach to Architectural Heritage and Landscapes of Historical Cities},
abstract ={Practical components in the world of heritage conservation should be reconsidered based on new approaches conceptually; as evidence shows that developing countries are heavily disturbing the historical landscapes of cities; however, advanced cities are not exempt from this issue. Neoliberalism in the past half-century has attempted to destroy historical urban landscapes by erecting structures within the cultural landscape zones, thus it is necessary for architectural conservationists to examine the factors of change in societies with a futuristic approach and consider them as an important influencing variable in their conservation plans. The article has a review-conceptual approach and benefits from qualitative analysis. This article is not seeking to develop case studies, but rather aims to develop and update the concepts of some influential components such as the role of the destructive aspect of neoliberalism on the process of preserving architectural and urban heritage, and the hopeful impact of interdisciplinary future studies in controlling the penetration of neoliberalism in the near and distant future. The main objective addressed in this article is the essence of modern conservation of architectural heritage and urban landscapes simultaneously with the penetration of neoliberalism in conservation and the role of future-oriented strategies in conservation management. Based on this objective, the article seeks to answer these questions: What have been the effects of coexistence of modern conservation with the penetration of neoliberalism in the conservation of architectural heritage and historical urban landscapes? And how should the impacts of this coexistence be managed in the future? In order to answer the question posed, components with negative impacts such as neoliberalism and components with positive impacts such as future studies and modern conservation as influential factors in the essence of conservation of historical urban landscapes have been identified and redefined, creating a more comprehensive understanding of "heritage conservation." These components are essential for a deep understanding of the subject of conservation. At a time when neoliberalism has become more economically focused than ever on conservation, the way to escape further penetration is to have a future-oriented strategy. },

title = {Analysis of design thinking mentality in architecture education based on creativity, cognitive ability and flexibility},
abstract ={ One of the important goals of education in architecture is to increase the thinking power of the designer and his mentality; Therefore, it seems necessary to identify the factors related to the design process and especially thinking in design. In order to improve the quality of education, based on cognitive research, it is necessary to investigate cognitive structures in education. On this basis, cognitivism is interested in investigating cognitive processes and how they are processed. Among the cognitive variables related to design thinking mentality are creativity, flexibility, skill and cognitive ability. The purpose of this research was to predict the design thinking mentality based on creativity, ability and cognitive flexibility of students. Therefore, the main question was whether it is possible to predict design thinking mentality based on creativity, cognitive abilities and cognitive flexibility? The present research method was descriptive-correlation. In the current research, the statistical population includes all architecture students of Hamadan Girls' Technical and Vocational University in the academic year of 2019-1400. Sampling method, 278 people were selected in the available way. The tools used in the research included Abedi's creativity questionnaire (1372), Dennis and Vanderwaal's cognitive flexibility questionnaire (2010), and Nejati's cognitive skills and abilities questionnaire (1392). Relationships between variables were investigated using the correlation method. The results of the research showed that the research variables of cognitive skill and ability, creativity and cognitive flexibility have the ability to predict with 41% of the changes of the criterion variable, i.e. design thinking. In other words, with the standardized regression coefficient of social cognitive skill and ability (0.16), non-social cognitive ability (0.26), cognitive flexibility (0.32) and creativity (0.43) which are good predictors for design thinking. Since the variables of creativity, ability and cognitive flexibility are related to the mindset of design thinking; Therefore, it is suggested to pay attention to the training of comprehensive cognitive skills and abilities in the form of training courses in the curriculum planning with the aim of professional development and training of skilled designers. },

title = {Investigation and recognition of the characteristics of the manifestation of the imaginary world in architecture place with the approach of Islamic mystics "},
abstract ={Abstract place is considered one of the most important areas in the definitions of architecture. Giving identity to a place can mean human presence in architecture. Islamic mystics consider one of the ways of knowing the realm of the world to be the world of imagination and to communicate with it through the power of imagination. Considering that imagination is an important thing in architectural reativity. In this research, which was conducted using a qualitative-quantitative method, It tries to identify the characteristics of the manifestation of the imaginary world in architectural places. And by examining the thought of Islamic mystics such as Ibn-Arabi, Molana and Mulla Sadra (according to the common points of view about the importance of imagination) and the manifestation of their views in the knowledge of architectural places. The objectives of the research include the following: 1. Identifying the characteristics of the manifestation of the world of fantasy in the world of sensations in the form of architectural space؛ 2. Discovering the symbolic meanings of architectural elements and decorations from mystical perspectives . And also the questions of this article include the following: 1. What are the characteristics of the manifestation of the imaginary world in the architectural place of the world of sensations? 2- How is the thought of Islamic mystics about imagination manifested in knowing the place? In the results of this research, we can see that even though these mystics did not explicitly comment on architecture, But architectural places have been identified based on their approaches and architects have been able to realize these ideas in architecture and other arts with special elements and decorations in their works. The manifestation of these views can be seen in the form of symbolic meanings in elements, geometry, patterns, numbers, colors, etc. in architectural places. And this can be very valuable to discover the ratio of imagination in the knowledge of architectural places. In order to prove the identified indicators, we measure those quantities in the sample of the case where Domnare Mosque of Saqqez was selected.},

title = {Reading of Expert Attitudes in Conservation Practice Evaluation; Structural analysis with the MICMAC method to Identify Effective Conservation Criteria},
abstract ={Heritage Conservation is a specific and complex activity that requires special skills and training, and should be considered as a common ground of goals, values and a moral duty to extend the life of Architectural heritage and make decisions about them.According to the existing attitudes in field of heritage conservation, this research considers different attitudes for conservation practice and intervention in a historical building as a basic need, because the differences in the attitude towards conservation as a cultural approach and the way of dealing among various societies, will also be an important subject. The heritage conservation, that definition is changing and expanding rapidly, requires a re-examination of new approaches and practices. Accordingly, considering the approach of experts of the last century and examining the current situation of conservation specialists' attitudes in Iran is the main purpose of this study. This research with a combination of qualitative and quantitative approach is one of the applied and fundamental type. In order to collect qualitative information and identify variables related to conservation and intervention in historical buildings, international charters, conventions and declaration have been read in a period of 22 years (since 2000 AD). In the structural analysis section, the opinions of academic experts in Conservation field in Iran have been collected and the relationships between factors affecting conservation have been determined and leveled using MICMAC software analysis. The use of a future research tool in the theoretical field of restoration and analysis of the existing situation with a quantitative method (not a qualitative method) is considered the main achievement of this research. Finally, the interpretation and analysis of the results obtained with the help of this new analytical method were identified 6 effective key components of heritage conservation practice in three levels: planning, action and monitoring, as effective factors in protective measures from the point of view of today's Iranian experts. These extracted influential components indicate that the system of theoretical foundations of protection, restoration and revitalization existing and in the flow of society is unstable and needs a fundamental analysis.},

title = {The effect of the skeleton and spatial hierarchy on the feeling of belonging to the place in the mosque of Safavid schools of Isfahan (a case study of the mosque - Chaharbagh, Imam and Hakim schools)},
abstract ={ The body and respect for hierarchy in architectural spaces is one of the most important principles in the formation of Iranian buildings, which is the manifestation of Islamic thoughts and ideas and the special characteristics of tradition, which have various dimensions. In Iranian Islamic culture, mosque schools have a special place in architecture, so in this regard, in the Safavid period, schools became one of the most important types of buildings as the most important educational centers serving mosques. The concept of sequence and hierarchy has always been emphasized in Iranian Islamic architecture, and this principle has been fundamental to architects in the body of mosques and schools. Spatial sequence and hierarchy can lead people to feel belonging to mosque-schools. Therefore, according to the physical changes of the mosque schools during the era, the concept and application of the series of classes has evolved. Therefore, considering the effect of hierarchy on the feeling of belonging to a place, it is necessary to investigate the relationship between the hierarchy in mosque schools and the sense of belonging to a place. Therefore, the main question of this research is What is the effect of hierarchy on creating a sense of belonging to a place in mosque-schools of the Safavid period? The purpose of this article is to discuss the impact of the body and spatial levels on the sense of belonging to the place in mosque schools of the Safavid period. The method of collecting research information is descriptive-analytical in terms of the type of results and in terms of the historical-interpretive approach, which is done by the typological analysis method and library data collection method (documents) and with the tools of map reading, document reading, and scanning, which are the architectural elements first. Inspects mosques. Then, he will discuss the role of these principles, including the spatial hierarchy corresponding to the body, on the sense of belonging to the place in the prominent mosque-schools of the Safavid period of Chaharbagh, Imam, and Hakim in Isfahan. The research results show that the order, sequence, and internal order that make up the shape of the body caused people to have a sense of belonging to the place. In such a way that changing the sequence or removing the hierarchy causes the nature of the body elements to change to create a sense of belonging. Therefore, in this evolution, the understanding of the physical elements in the hierarchy is not done correctly and it affects the sense of belonging to the place of the people.},

title = {Analyzing the spatial organization of Ghiasieh Khargerd school using the space syntax method to understand the spatial relationships of Timurid period schools in Khorasan.},
abstract ={Every land has a history that has shaped the culture of its people. One of the most important periods of Iranian architecture is the Timurid architecture. This research has sought to present an understanding of the architecture of Iran, Khorasan, and one of the important schools of the Timurid period, the Ghiasieh School in Khargerd. With the fading of the formative elements shaping the spatial configuration of past architecture in the plans of contemporary buildings, the necessity of conducting this research is felt. In this study, the space syntax method has been used to analyze the spatial relationships and the manner of spatial configuration in Ghiasieh Khargerd School. Finally, based on this, an effort has been made to present a model of Ghiasieh School in Khargerd for the purpose of benefiting in the design of new educational and research spaces to prevent imitation of non-original architectures. This research aims to analyze the spatial configuration characteristics, identify spatial and social relationships in the formal pattern of the plan of Ghiasieh School in Khargerd to achieve the desired spatial arrangement. In this research, a descriptive-analytical method was used in a case study to answer the questions and achieve the objectives. The research tools used included library studies, examination of written documents, field observation and interpretation, and ultimately simulation using the Depth Map X software. The findings show that there is a significant relationship between the type of spatial organization and the level of coherence, depth, connectivity, and clarity in Ghiasieh Khargerd School; considering that the pattern of organization and spatial arrangement in the school is central and linear, the central courtyard space has the highest level of coherence and connectivity and the lowest level of depth. The central layout of the school plan has led to increased clarity. It seems that using central organization in the plans taken from the Khargerd School model is one of the most important design solutions in designing new educational and research spaces. And among other proposed solutions for designing new educational and research spaces; attention to the potential of the location of educational and research spaces, attention to spatial hierarchy, use of central organization for public spaces and linear organization for private and semi-private spaces, combination of linear and central organization in two-dimensional and three-dimensional structures, placement of public spaces around the central courtyard, placement of private spaces away from the central courtyard, avoiding long corridors to create high clarity.},

title = {The effect of digital technology on the prioritization of design indicators of architectural culture of contemporary buildings in Iran (case study of Tabriz city)},
abstract ={ In many cases, technological innovations in architecture are the result of technology transfer without considering the nature of the technology. Using digital technology in architecture does not mean forgetting culture. Rather, it is the interaction of cultures with each other and a kind of cultural exchange between societies through the structure and process of architectural design in the contemporary century. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of digital technology in prioritizing design indicators of architectural culture of contemporary Iranian buildings in the city of Tabriz. The current research method is descriptive-analytical and the statistical population of the research is 20 architectural experts. Cronbach's alpha was used to evaluate the questions. For data analysis, Shannon's entropy method along with TOPSIS and numerical fuzzy TOPSIS techniques were used. The results showed. Among the criteria, the functional criterion with a score of 0.371 has the first rank, the perceptual criterion with a score of 0.330 ranks the second, and the conceptual criterion with a score of 0.299 ranks the third. And also the findings obtained from two techniques TOPSIS and FTOPSIS (numerical fuzzy), showed that although there were very few differences between the results of both techniques. However, in both models, World Trade Tower was ranked first, followed by Bloor Tower, Pars Hotel, Shahran Tower, and Atlas Shopping Center, respectively. As a result, the function of technology in the context of globalization and the age of communication cannot in any way mean the destruction of culture in architecture. Communication cannot be destructive. The main form that has been created in the human mind from technological developments in the context of globalization is that a dominant culture is created that humans are unable to deal with.},
