Despite this significance, the geometry of arches in general and Kaujave arches in particular has not been adequately examined. This research aims to understand the geometry and nature of small arches in Kaujave by addressing the question of what characteristics the divisions and geometry of Kaujave arches possess, and how the various geometric forms in the arch openings of Kaujave are represented. The study adopts a qualitative approach based on field analysis. To this end, 28 Kaujave arch segments within the historic bazaar of Kashan were selected and analyzed. The findings reveal that the divisions of an arch segment in Kaujave are either even or odd. The rotation of the main keystone contributes to diversity in the arch&#39;s geometry. The geometry of the arch openings appears in forms that are crenellated, pointed, or a combination of both. The heights of Kaujave arches show variability. The results indicate that the geometric form of the arch openings can be either uniform or non-uniform, realized in 9 variations and 4 main categories, with the five-and-seven arch design being the most frequent.
