Abstract

In the following article, the necessity of effectiveness and application of historicalknowledge in architectural design is discussed. In other words, how historical data canbe an approach to enhance students’ design insights. A review of the literature suggeststhat one of the challenges of teaching architecture is helping students in the process ofcreating new ideas. Accordingly, one of the processes pursued by the designers and thestudents is referring to similar designs and the literature. Therefore, searching for tools andequipment that can help use previous literature and focus on their fundamental features,is of importance. The most appropriate leading-edge solution is to target architecturalhistory education by changing the teaching patterns that attempt to create contexts as wellas teaching students the correct ways and methods of adopting backgrounds to studentsand recall applications for achieving appropriate design elements and patterns so that theycan be used in today’s architecture in a new way. This study seeks to identify pattern-basedreading which is related to architecture and is a need for modern education of architecturalhistory, which will have a positive impact on the quality and variety of ideation of studentsmajoring in architecture. Therefore, the most important research questions of this studyare: what is the effect of pattern-based reading on the ideation process of students majoringin architecture? And what are the components of pattern-based reading in teachingarchitectural history? Hence, the present paper aims to find solutions to the application ofpatterns and concepts of architectural history in architectural design using pattern-basedreading in architectural history teaching through a qualitative-quantitative approach withempirical as well as a library-based research tools (through studying related theories anddefinitions), student questionnaire (content analysis), and field study through participatoryand non-participatory observation and finally, pre-test and post-test implementationand analysis of its results. By referring to the results obtained from the tests, and aftercontrolling the effect of the pre-test, the quality, and the variety in the ideas provided, there was a significant difference and since the experimental groups mean score was high, this indicated the positive effect of pattern-based reading in the instruction of architecturalhistory on the quality, variety of ideas, and art works created by students of architecture

Abstract

The Holy Quran is the guidebook of life and the architecture is the container of human life.  The Architecture take shapes of life. The concepts outlined in the Holy Quran as a guide to life can help to produce theoretical concepts in the field of architecture. This study explores the realization of the concept of the word "Eimara" in the Quran and seeks to ask: what are the meanings of architecture and what can be deduced from the above verse and how can these concepts be realized in architecture. The purpose of this study is to understand the various facets of the divine in architecture and to promote its architectural meanings. Theoretical foundations of the research are presented in the semantic studies of the word "Eimara". The semantic method is used to explain the semantic components of the words in the phrase " He has produced you from the earth and settled you in it " in verse 61 of the hood: "And to Thamud [We sent] their brother Salih. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. He has produced you from the earth and settled you in it, so ask forgiveness of Him and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is near and responsive"
The results of this study show that in the historical linguistics of "Amara" and chr('39')Abadachr('39') both have been used interchangeably; therefore, the two words have a common or semantic derivation at the root, therefore prosperity can be a part of thraldom and also thraldom can cause prosperity. “Istiemar” over the weight of "Istafeal" demands the building; that is, God created man from the earth and asked him to build it; it is inferred from the reflection in the Quranic verses that although architecture must be safe, "building" does not just mean building a spatial body; That the Creator has placed the earth in control of man and the cradle of his peace, man must be able to accommodate architecture to meet the material and spiritual needs such as thinking, worship, and peace of heart, and architecture must fit as time goes on. That the Creator has placed the earth in control of man and the cradle of his peace, man must be able to accommodate architecture to meet the material and spiritual needs such as thinking, worship, and peace of heart, and architecture must fit as time goes on. To grow with time and time,to grow and provide a platform for people to flourish. The result of this study highlights the semantic architecture of the verse in six architectural discussions as the factor of living in a place, the place for human relaxation, the place of growth and training, the context of the heaven and human spiritual life, the architectchr('39')s role as the caliph of Allah and the manifestation of God. In the place of human life, he points out that“Istiemar”on earth leads to a human orientation towards God, a desire for divine forgiveness, and a readiness to receive Godchr('39')s mercy

Abstract

If architecture students rely on the form of the work more than anything in the process of reading and understanding architectural examples, then consequences such as neglecting the historical-identity values, meaning and meaning of the works will follow. Therefore, the most important question of this research is how much the students pay attention to each aspect of the work-audience relationship in the process of criticizing and encountering the work? The upcoming research aims to measure the amount of attention and use of communication aspects from field and library studies in both qualitative and quantitative ways, as described first, the place and importance of exposure and criticism in students' understanding and reception was investigated. Furthermore, the communication aspects of the work-audience were deduced by the comparative method and the content analysis method from the matching of two phenomenological and interpretive approaches, and in order to evaluate the degree of application of these aspects in relation to the case example of the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque in Isfahan University of Arts and Azad University. Islami Khorasgan, statistical tools such as questionnaire and spss software were used. According to the results of the test and the calculated confidence interval, it can be said that the facet of awakening memories and the representational facet of the effect have a higher average than the average, and in the meantime, the representational facet has a higher average effect than the other aspects, which means that the facet The demonstration of a work has had a greater impact, and if the necessary measures are not taken to pay attention to it in the process of criticizing architectural works as well as in the design process, its threatening educational and training role on the process of criticizing architecture students becomes more obvious. Also, the cognitive value facet and the historical originalist facet have an average lower than the average, and according to the average values and confidence intervals of each, it can be said that the value facet has a lower average than the other faces, and it means that the value cognitive facet has less influence than the others. The focus is on the understanding of the achievements of the work, and the reasons for it have been reported by the university professors, the neglect of the meaning and content of the work, along with the tendency towards specific styles and methods in architecture.
